As Global Director of CSR at Selina, I rapidly scaled the department's impact from Central America to a global footprint across Latin America and Europe. Within two years, I spearheaded initiatives that engaged 2,000 employees in volunteer programs, achieving a record-breaking 73% participation rate. By launching a skills-based job training program, I empowered local communities with employment opportunities, securing a 62% job placement rate. Additionally, I pioneered a company-wide ESG audit and benchmarking process, establishing industry standards while integrating ESG principles across the company, fostering cross-functional collaboration and driving positive social and environmental change.

• Increased Employee Engagement: Developed and executed social responsibility programs that engaged 2,000 employees across 41 locations in Latin America, USA, and Europe (Portugal, Spain, Greece, England).

• Boosted Volunteerism: Managed and mentored a team of 40+ Community Staff, achieving a record-breaking 73% employee volunteer rate.

• Launched Flagship Program: Spearheaded the launch and execution of a new global CSR program focused on reducing local unemployment through skills-based job training. This program achieved a 62% job placement rate for graduates across 10 countries.

• Led cross-departmental partnerships: Worked with three regional finance departments, company public relations, hotel operations and regional business managers to successfully implement the companies’ first ESG compliance strategy resulting in increased funding and coordinated resource management for sustainability.
